IPW United Kingdom have announced that they have ended the working relationship between themselves and The Wrestling League.

IPW released the following statement via Facebook…

As of Monday 7th October, Mark Young has decided to withdraw his right of usage of the IPW branding and therefore will no longer be running events with any name or likeness of the International Pro Wrestling brand. This brings to an end the Wrestling League relationship and dissolves the IPWL branding.

IPW would like to put on record that Mark Young’s effort is respected and we wish him and Wrestling League all the best in the future.

After several discussions a new team has been put in place to manage IPW.

Full details of the new structure will be announced soon, however IPW can confirm that the monthly home of IPW since 2017, Unit Nine, will join the Ownership Team alongside Billy Wood, with Chris Hatch and Sarah Barraclough-Hatch also joining as Directors who will sit on the Operational Management Team.

IPW will continue to operate in both Kent and Milton Keynes. Due to circumstances out of the control of the management team, Canterbury will be postponed and therefore a new date will be announced in due course. All tickets are welcome to be refunded where purchased via Ringside World in the meantime.

Undisputed III in Maidstone will happen and we look forward to being back at that amazing venue with a production you are more familiar with.

We have a number of issues to address moving forward, which the new team will be working on in the coming days and weeks. One example is it’s clear the On Demand service isn’t what it needs to be and therefore we will be making a conservative effort to get it up to speed with the missing shows.

Our next IPW show will be in Milton Keynes at Unit Nine Wednesday 4th December with tickets on sale 6pm tomorrow.
